Intermediate Computer
The purpose of intermediate computer is to fully understand the valuable tools of the computer
and apply them. During the course of this semester students will review basic keyboarding skills,
word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, database, and multimedia applications.
Computer Literacy
The purpose of computer literacy is to combine computer concepts and hands-on learning to
emulate real-world examples. This course design presents projects that include the use of the
internet with word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, database, and multimedia applications.
Upon completing the one semester course students will have an understanding of the basics of a
computer and how technology is changing the world we live in. Students will receive 1/2 high
school credit upon completion of this course.
