| Welcome to 7th grade Drama and 8th grade English I am very excited to be here, and I am looking forward to having your child in my class for the 2010-2011 school year. In my class, I have an S & O Policy. This stands for Structured and Organized. I believe a well structured and organized learning environment makes it easier for every student to gain the knowledge that they need to succeed. We will be getting ready for the LEAP by writing essays, reading stories, and answering critical thinking questions. We will also be taking practice LEAPs periodically. Please make sure that your child reads at least 15 minutes everyday. This will make it easier for them when they read the passages on the LEAP test. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. If we all work together, I'm sure we will have a successful 2010-2011 school year. |
