President’s Message
The Herndon Magnet PTSA Executive Board welcomes you to Herndon Magnet
Elementary/Middle School! We are looking forward to a wonderful and busy year. We look
forward to seeing you at our Family Fun Night in October, and be ready to stock up on your
favorite Christmas wrapping paper and candy from our Fall Fundraiser catalog before
Christmas! Your children will enjoy our Hawk Treats candy sales every Friday throughout
the school year. The Herndon Magnet PTSA will also sponsor three CiCi’s pizza trips for our
4.0 students and three bingo parties for our 3.5 to 3.9 students!
We will also provide special Hawk treat coupons to our classrooms who have 100% PTSA
membership! In addition every month we provide Hawk treat coupons to the class rooms
that turn in the most Box tops in Elementary and Middle school!
In the spring we will have our annual cookie dough fundraiser with the prize package of
riding in the Hummer limo and enjoying a pizza lunch at Johnny’s! We will finish out our 2009-
2010 school year out by sponsoring our Middle school, Almost Anything Goes Day and our
Elementary Field Day!
As you can see, your Herndon PTSA Executive Board is here serve you and your student!
Please remember to join our PTSA through your student’s homeroom class, and continue to
support your PTSA! If at any time you have a question, a donation or just want to volunteer….
we are here for you! We are also the only ones that sell the “official” Herndon t-shirts,
sweatshirts and hoodies! Order yours today!
